MWM NMC OSCE MASTER’s TRAINING

On August 2, 2021, the NEW TEST OF COMPETENCE in OSCE expanded from six to ten stations.

The current Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) now includes ten stations:

• Four stations concentrate on scenarios using the APIE framework (Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation).
• Four stations evaluate practical skills.
• One station is focused on Professional Values.
• One station emphasises Evidence-Based Practice.

Our training preparation courses and support options last 4 to 12 weeks, depending on your chosen package. We implement a blended learning approach that combines online and one to two weeks of in-person training, ensuring we cater to diverse learning styles while respecting individual preferences.

If your employer has an agreement with us to cover the cost of your OSCE, we invite you to enrol using the link provided. We have a specific payment arrangement with your employer and a separate enrolment process for you. Your employer will be endorsing your name to us. Enrol here.

OSCE Fees

The fee for the OSCE is £794.

If you need to resit 8 or more stations, then the fee is also £794.

If you need to resit 7 or fewer stations, then the fee is £397.

There are Five Approve OSCE Test Centres in the United Kingdom:

• Oxford Brookes University
• University of Northampton
• Ulster University
• Northumbria University
• Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

FIVE-DAY MASTERY PROGRAM

We will cover all the stations the following stations:

APIE, Clinical Skills (all verbal), Professional Values & Evidence-Based Practice, QUIZZES, Revision for stations, 1:1 Post-training consultation based on the candidate’s overall performance and Affirmations to success.

Notes:

• The training format may be adjusted to suit the learning styles and levels of the candidates.
• Please note that we do not provide refunds for training programs once you enroll and the training portal is open. Make sure to finalize your decision before joining.
• The training cost does not cover OSCE booking fees and accommodation expenses.
• Candidates are welcome to bring their own lunch; we provide access to a refrigerator and microwave for your convenience.

The 5-day period

Since our training began in 2020, we have worked closely with employers to help their candidates pass the OSCE on their first attempt. Based on the experiences of our successful candidates, we have found that a final preparation period of 10 days is optimal for OSCE success. However, we would like to welcome candidates preferences of attending our 5-day onsite training only.
