This training session has been prepared to ensure that all staff are fully up-to-date with regard to their responsibilities. This training will assist with meeting Care Certificate theory requirements. 

 

 

 

COURSE CONTENT 

This course covers the following at Level 1: 

  • Understanding your own role 
  • Working in ways that have been agreed with your employer 
  • Understanding working relationships in health and social care and work in partnership 
  • Agreeing a personal development plan 
  • Developing your knowledge, skills and understanding 
  • Understanding how duty of care contributes to safe practice 
  • Understanding support available for addressing dilemmas that may arise about duty of care 
  • Dealing with comments, complaints, incidents, errors and near misses 
  • Dealing with confrontation and difficult situations 

 

 

 

TARGET POPULATION: 

All staff who may require Person Centred Care Training 

 

 

 

COURSE AIMS: 

The aim of the sessions is to inform care workers about their role, their personal development and duty of care. 

 

 

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES: 

At the end of the session participants will be able to: 

  • Understand their own role 
  • Work in ways that have been agreed with their employer 
  • Understand working relationships in health and social care and work in partnership. 
  • Agree a personal development plan 
  • Develop their knowledge, skills and understanding 
  • Understand how duty of care contributes to safe practice 
  • Understand support available for addressing dilemmas that may arise about duty of care 
  • Deal with comments, complaints, incidents, errors and near misses

CERTIFICATION: 

Upon successful completion of the session questionnaires.

For individuals or groups with fewer participants than the specified minimum, there will be a minimum call-out fee per session, ranging from £120 to £220 depending on the course. This fee covers the trainer’s time, course delivery, materials, travel (if necessary), and certification.
