DESCRIPTION: 

This training session has been prepared to ensure that all staff are fully up-to-date with regard to the Organisations and their own statutory health & safety responsibilities. 

COURSE CONTENT 

TARGET POPULATION: 

This Health & Safety training if for All staff working in the care organization. This course has been used successfully within Social Services, with Health Authorities, within Domiciliary Care and Private Nursing & Care Homes, and various sectors of industry. 

COURSE AIMS 

LEARNING OUTCOMES: 

At the end of this session participants will be able to: 

• State the legal obligations of themselves and their employers with regard to health and safety 

• Recognise a range of hazards in their working environment 

• Recognise a range of harms that could be caused by hazards in their working environment 

• Explain the importance of following hazard controls that have been put in place 

TRAINING OVERVIEW 

COURSE DURATION: 

Theory = 3 Hours 

CERTIFICATION: 

Upon successful completion of the session. 

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 

12 Maximum
