TARGET POPULATION
All staff who may be called upon to undertake to undertake end of life care in the course of their duties.

Aim
This course will enable participants to have a greater understanding of their End of Life Care responsibilities.
Objectives
At the end of the session participants will be able to:
- Describe the key principles of palliative care and end of life care
- Describe the principles of good practice within the process of advance care planning
- Explain the purpose of assessment in end of life care
- Explain what is included in a holistic assessment
